My style is meditative, with a main focus on the body and the sensations that arise in each posture. For Sweat, Relax, Restore I instruct a sequence that targets all major muscles within the body for a full-body relaxation class with deep awareness of the location of the stretch and impermanence of the sensations. For faster, Flow or Yin-Yang practices I combine standing, strengthening postures with balancing ones and with vinyasa flows. We start slow and speed up for the middle of practice and slow down at the end. I like to open with an intention or short zen story sometimes to give people a focus for their class.
