Mark Dunlop

Emerged into martial arts at a young age, Mark developed a strong sense of discipline and an appreciation for movement and expression of the self through moving arts.
 
Mark attained his 2nd degree black belt in the style of HapKiDo and as he grew his martial arts skills Mark soon realized that he would need to find a yin to his yang. Despite martial arts are great for focus and confidence, they are aggressive in nature and incorporating yoga into his life was the perfect transition to continue growth of the soul in a peaceful way. His love of physical arts through mindful movements had just found its perfect counterbalance.

After 10 years of yoga practice (on and off in the beginning) he took the initiative and found the De La Sol family. The teachers there took his practice to a new level of mindfulness, he then vowed he would take the teacher's program to share his love of movement with everyone he could. Mark graduated from the De La Sol yoga teacher's program in the spring of 2014 and haven't looked back.

  • Hot Flow 1 | Yoga 8 | I
  • Using the principles learned in the Intro or Fundamentals, this class moves you through sequences at a faster pace and explores more challenging asanas such as backbends and arm balances. Flow classes contain elements found in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Anusara and Iyengar practices.
