Naz (Rebecca) Zarezadegan

Naz's love for yoga was first discovered in 2002. Struggling with obesity at the time and knowing changes needed to be made, she started her daily practice in her living room to a Yoga dvd until eventually making her way into her first studio class. With a daily practice, and balanced nutrition Naz fell in love with Yoga and successfully lost 125 pounds and has successfully maintained her dedication to self improvement.

Through encouragement and support from her family and friends Naz completed her 200hr Hatha-Vinyasa Teacher Training at De La Sol.

Naz's passion for fitness and desire to explore mind/body connection flourishes through her yoga teaching. Her classes offer powerful fitness sequences, with a focus on flow and core. Naz's favourite poses are triangle pose "trikonasana " and four limbed staff pose "chaturanga dandasana"

Erin Aquin

Erin has been passionate about sharing yoga since she was 20 years old. She is a Certified Hatha Vinyasa and Pre-natal Instructor and a Practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, who began formally teaching in 2003. In 2006, Erin completed a second 200+ hour Advanced Training in Montreal with two inspirational teachers from two different traditions, Mark Darby and Hart Lazer. It was this experience that inspired her to blend different forms of yoga and make it accessible and enjoyable for as many students as possible.
 
As a senior teacher at De La Sol, Erin has teaches a specialized brand of Yin Yang Yoga that bridges vigorous flow sequences, long held postures and meditation with concepts of Chinese Medicine and modern spirituality. She is thrilled to be part of the De La Sol community and in her time not teaching at the studio she works with students worldwide through her articles and videos at www.aquinyoga.com.
 
Among Erin's favourite yoga poses is Bakasana (Crow). It took almost 7 years to earn it and it feels great to fly!

Chris Nguyen

Chris is a yoga and Pilates teacher. Curiosity is what brought Chris into his first yoga class. That curiosity marked the beginning of an ongoing journey and passion for the practice of yoga and a profound desire to deepen that relationship. 
 
Chris completed De La Sol's 200 hour YTT and is currently studying the Ashtanga Yoga method. With persistence and dedication, one's yoga practice can only strengthen and grow deeper. In 2015, Chris embarked on two separate trip to Mysore, India to study with R.Sharath Jois and Saraswathi Rangaswamy at KPJAYI (Krishna Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute), the source of Ashtanga yoga. In 2018, Chris completed his fourth trip studying at the Shala with Paramaguru Sharath Jois. Chris is a certified Functional Range Conditioning Movement Specialist (FRCms) under Dr. Andreo Spina and continues to work with Head FRC & Kinstretch Master Instructor, Dana John Heimbecker. He is also studying the art of hand balancing under renown circus coach, Nicolas Montes de Oca. Chris is also a second degree Reiki practitioner.

  

In 2017, Chris completed the Yoga Tune Up Level 1 Teacher Training created by Jill Miller.

To Chris, yoga is not something to "excel" at but rather about cultivating contentment, compassion, mindfulness, self acceptance and bringing awareness into the body. Yoga has transformed his life on and off the mat. As a teacher, he aspires to help others find a santosha (contentment) and a deeper connection to themselves. 

  

One of Chris' favourite poses is urdhva dhanurasana (upward bow pose). The feeling of opening up to endless possibilities can be quite addicting.

A popular style of practice where the first half of the class is vigorous (a level 1-2 flow) and the second half is passive and restorative.
