Natalie Jakymyshyn

Natalie began practicing yoga in 2002. She is a graduate of De La Sol’s 2009 200 hour YTT and is a certified Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher. Natalie is full of life, laughter and passion and she strives to keep these important ingredients at the forefront of her practice and her teaching. She wants all her students to know that in yoga, you don’t have to be perfect but you must be willing. It is this willingness that brings transformation on all levels - physically, mentally and spiritually.
Natalie is currently studying to become an Osteopath at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.

Natalie's favourite yoga pose is Vasisthsana (Side Plank). With so many different interpretations and modifications of this pose she is reminded that the practice of yoga shows up differently in everyone. What comes up for Natalie in this pose is pure strength. Just saying its name makes her feel strong- vasisthsana!!!!

Naz (Rebecca) Zarezadegan

Naz's love for yoga was first discovered in 2002. Struggling with obesity at the time and knowing changes needed to be made, she started her daily practice in her living room to a Yoga dvd until eventually making her way into her first studio class. With a daily practice, and balanced nutrition Naz fell in love with Yoga and successfully lost 125 pounds and has successfully maintained her dedication to self improvement.

Through encouragement and support from her family and friends Naz completed her 200hr Hatha-Vinyasa Teacher Training at De La Sol.

Naz's passion for fitness and desire to explore mind/body connection flourishes through her yoga teaching. Her classes offer powerful fitness sequences, with a focus on flow and core. Naz's favourite poses are triangle pose "trikonasana " and four limbed staff pose "chaturanga dandasana"

Anthony Berlingeri

Anthony relates yoga to being in a relationship; it takes commitment, vulnerability, playfulness, faith, forgiveness, & compassion. Anthony’s love affair with yoga began about 8 years ago & like most relationships do, it started on the surface. My hamstrings were super tight and I wanted to loosen up while toning my body. Little did I know yoga would remain with me throughout some of the hardest times of my life. Yoga became a mirror for me to see myself in. Most of us start to practice for the simple reason of strengthening the mind and body, but ultimately we begin to re-discover our own truth. We get out of our heads and into our Selves, which is the very nature of love. As a teacher I believe the essence of yoga is also the art of living. Its about being present for our Self, and the world that we live in, so that we can express and celebrate the divinity that we all share. Yoga isn’t a religion, nor does it have anything to do with becoming a better person. Its simply about letting go of the past, as well as our fears of the future, so that the gift of the present can be received! Anthony is recognized in the community for his commitment to bring yoga and meditation into schools through his Yoga Affects Youth initiative. His intention is bring the gift of yoga and meditation to children so that they can begin the path of their own discovery from an early age. For more information check out yogaaffectsyouth.com.

Anthony's favourite yoga pose is Salamba Sirsasana (Headstand). It's not often he flips his world upside down, but when he does it gives him a completely different view and perspective. It also forces him to be present to avoid tumbling over.

Kelly Bortolin

Kelly began her love affair with yoga over 20 years ago. Being an athlete, her first draw to yoga was to attain mental and emotional strength and peace in the same way she had physically.

Yoga put Kelly on a path of self discovery and awakened awareness and inspired her passion for facilitating healing and growth in others. Kelly is also a Holistic Healer and Life Coach. Her intention is to combine all of her gifts and modalities to facilitate healing on all levels for her students.

Kelly has completed 200 hour YTTs in both Integrative yoga therapy and Vinyasa Flow. She has also completed Pre/Post Natal TT, YogaRocks Kids and Teens TT, and Yin/Yang TT.

Kelly’s favourite postures are Astavakrasana (eight-angle pose) as it demands strength, flexibility, concentration, balance and a connection with curiousity and playfulness and Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand) as Kelly loves to be upside down while connecting with a sense of commitment, strength, grace and fun!

A popular style of practice where the first half of the class is vigorous (a level 1 flow) and the second half is passive and restorative.
