Molly Kubes

As a Reiki Master and 200 hr Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, Molly has followed the Yogini's path since a young age. She emanates a true purity of being, and has the rare gift of helping others connect to their power through Mother Earth. Once a provincial level gymnast, Molly first fell in love with the asana and acrobatic side of Yoga. However, as her practice progressed, so did her love for the spiritual side of Yoga. She began to recognize many of the therapeutic benefits Yoga has for the mind as well as the Spirit. Molly has studied from many different teachers and traditions, including Kundalini, Ashtanga, Hatha, and even Shamanism and various forms of energy healing. With love and great respect, she guides her students to be fully connected with their inner radiance and purpose.

Claudia Bauman

Claudia believes that people come to yoga to feel better and that we are all seeking an experience of our own goodness. It is Claudia’s intention as a teacher to encourage others to be open of heart, open of mind, open to feeling better both on their yoga mats and most importantly, during the yoga of everyday life.
 
Claudia has drawn upon the experience of her teaching career in education and brought it into a new domain..the yoga mat. She completed her 200 hour Teacher Training in the Anusara Tradition with Michael Siddal in 2008 and continues to learn from him. Guiding and inspiring Claudia on her journey have been her valued friends and teachers Katie McClelland and Andre Grandbois.

Luisa Caruso

Luisa is a registered Yoga Alliance teacher, she graduated from Prana Yoga College in Vancouver in 2009. She started practicing as a result of a drawn out battle with depression and anxiety and began seeking alternative therapies to support growth as well as emotional and physical wellness. Since studying out west she continued her yoga practice with many Iyanger, Ashtanga, Restorative and Yin inspired teachers, she is currently studying Ayurveda.
 
Luisa has been practicing yoga since 2006 and has accumulated over 500 hours of both teaching and studying experience, she is also a certifed Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher. Luisa has a passion for social justice and activism and is currently pursuing her apprenticeship in Child and Youth Work, she believes that her yoga practice has nurtured and supported these passions. Luisa teaches both Flow and Yin classes, with specific emphasis on breathing and awareness of the patterened habits of the mind and body. In her classes you will create both strength and flexibility in balance, combining controlled movement, deep stretch and a good laugh.

Luisa's favorite posture is Adho Mukha Svanasana (Wild Thing / Flip Dog). Letting go and dropping back into the unknown, opening the heart while cultivating strength in the arms.

Melissa Lam

It's so great to be back at De La Sol to see new and familiar faces!

I had the pleasure to teach at De La Sol about 2 years ago when the Waterdown Studio first opened.

I love to travel and for the past 2 years taught English and Yoga in South Korea.

I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training program in 2013 with Global Yoga Shala while living in Peru.

I am trained in the Ashtanga Method - Primary Series, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. I am confident in subbing any of the classes offered at De La Sol.

My focus when teaching is to encourage students to develop a mindful, creative, and most importantly sustainable yoga practice.

Enjoy this candle-lit class created to relieve stress and tension. The heat stimulates deep muscle release and detoxification of the body and the relaxed atmosphere helps to quiet the mind. This class is open to all levels, including absolute beginners and is a great introduction to the Infrared Hot room.
